Oh, the joys of having staff ! Ah, le bonheur d'avoir du personnel !

Vu la situation (maison "presque" finie depuis plus d'un an et demi), nous avons appelé les renforts : Papa et Maman sont venus passer une dizaine de jours à la maison, et ça a usiné ! En moins de 3 jours, le jardin était nettoyé, rangé, désherbé et Papa tournait en rond. Alors Robin l'a mis au travail dans la maison, où il a pu goûter au bonheur de poncer pendant 2-3h sans que ça ne fasse visuellement une grande différence. Mais ça nous a beaucoup aidé, Papa, et on sait que c'est dur à faire !
Maman, reine de l'efficacité, nous a fait des rideaux magnifiques pour la chambre (photos dès qu'on trouve un coin de soleil qui ne fait pas contre-jour au bon moment) et pour la salle à manger. Dans la foulée, elle a ajusté le rideau de la chambre d'ami et aussi fait des coussins pour le salon. Et comme Papa tournait en rond, elle l'a embauché ! Preuve ci-dessous.
Bien sûr, en plus des services couture-bricolage-jardinage, on a aussi bénéficié des classiques : rangement, vaisselle, courses, lessives, repassage ... Le rêve ! Revenez vite !!!!

Considering the situation (an "almost" finished house for more than a year and a half), we called in the A Team : Mum and Dad spent about ten days at home with use, and boy, did they work ! In less than 3 days, the garden was cleared, tidied, weeded and Dad started to get bored. So Robin set him to work inside, where he discovered the joys of sanding for 2 to 3h for a barely visible result. But we know that you helped, Dad, and it makes a big difference, and we know it is hard !
Mum, Queen of Efficiency, made gorgeous curtains for our bedroom (photos as soon as we can find a wee sunny moment when the light is right) and also for the dining-room. While she was at it, she also adjusted the guest-bedroom curtain and made cushions for the living-room. And as Dad was bored, she set him to work (see below).
Of course, on top of the sewing-DIY-gardening services, the package included the usual tidying, dish-washing, shopping, laundry, ironing ... A dream ! Come back soon !



Et pour ceux qui disent "ouais, t'es jamais sur les photos, c'est le super plan pour pas bricoler, on t'a vu venir", voici la preuve que moi aussi, je mets la main à la pâte ... et même, je suis toujours de service pour les trucs à la con, regardez : ils m'ont collée sous les escaliers !

And for those who say "yeah, yeah, you're always on the pictures, that's a good trick to avoid doing any DIY", here is evidence that I also get down and dirty (DIY-wise) ... and actually, I always end up with the crapy jobs, look : they sent me under the stairs !

Petite escapade près du Lake District (à l'étranger, en Angleterre) en Septembre : étonnament, on a eu plein de soleil, et évidemment, on a passé un excellent week-end à se ballader, bien manger et se dire qu'on avait bien fait de réserver ça pour se changer les idées, parce que c'est la semaine où les gentils patrons de Robin ont décidé de lui donner plein de temps pour travailler dans la maison ...
