Who said that orchids were fragile delicate little things ? This one survived all the different sorts of dust from the DIY (plaster, soot, saw-dust ...) and it looks like it is going to have more flowers than ever ! So the key to happy, blooming orchids is to expose them to dust and mess !

Quant aux fruits rouges du dernier message ... ils ont donné les premiers pots de confiture du jardin ! Je ne mets pas d'échelle, car les pots sont ridiculement petits, mais tout de même, c'est du fait maison. Le guignolet est également en préparation, grâce à la généreuse contribution des cerisiers de Lucy. Si le jardin n'était pas plein d'herbes et la panière à repasser pleine, je me prendrais presque pour une fée du logis !
As for the red berries from the last post ... they were turned into the first pots of home-made jam ! I don't put any sort of scale, as they are actually very small, but it's still home grown and made. The guignolet is also brewing, thanks to a generous contribution from Lucy's cherry trees. If the garden wasn't full of weeds and the ironing basket overflowing, I could just about feel like a domestic goddess !
