Les extérieurs / Outside bits

Voici quelques photos des extérieurs prises avant les travaux.

Here are a few pictures of the outside parts before the work begins.

Le jardin de derrière, avec ses tulipes et son mur rouge.

The back garden, with its tulips and its red wall.

Et puis le jardin de devant, avec le cerisier décoratif des voisins qui fout des pétales partout, et sa pelouse bien tondue.

Tout est à peu près ordonné et assez sympa.

And the front garden, with the decorative cherry tree from the neighbours which stuck petals everywhere, and the well cut law (well, grass).

All seems roughly orderly and quite nice.

Cette phase a été suivie de près par une autre étape, impliquant une décoration tendance post-moderne, avec, comme vous le voyez, des toilettes (référence à Duchamp, bien sûr) et une pile de merdier pas possible.

This phase was quickly folliwed by another stage, involving a post-modern type of decor, with, as you can see, a loo (clearly a reference to Duchamp) and an incredible pile of shite.

Mais après mûre réflexion, nous avons décidé d'opter pour une approche un peu moins novatrice: l'art moderne est souvent incompris. On a donc commandé une benne, et vous verrez bientôt ce qu'on a fait du jardin !

After giving it some serious thoughts, we have however decided to adopt a less innovative approach: modern art is so often misunderstood ! So we hired a skip, and you'll soon see what has happened to the garden !
